Reece

Reece has finally decided that he can write his name!  I can't believe that he is going to be 5 soon, and that I just registered him for Kindergarten.

New toy

I didn't think Reece's new toy, dominoes, could cause so much frustration. He was NOT happy when he got all but 2 or 3 set up and then they would fall over.

New Recipe

I tried a new recipe tonight, thanks to Pinterest!  It was pretty good and the kids actually liked it.  I thought I should pass it on.

Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti Casserole
adapted from Food.com and salad-in-a-jar.com

12 oz spaghetti
1 (28 ounce) jars prepared spaghetti sauce
1 lb lean ground beef
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 clove garlic, minced
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.

In a skillet, brown the ground beef until cooked through; drain fat and stir in spaghetti sauce.  Set aside.

Cook spaghetti according to directions on packet.  Drain and place cooked spaghetti in bowl.  Add cream cheese, Italian Seasoning and minced garlic.  Stir until cream cheese is melted and the spaghetti is thoroughly coated.

Lightly grease a 9x13" pan.  Spread a small amount of meat sauce in the bottom of the dish.  Put spaghetti on top of sauce and top with remaining meat sauce.  Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.

Bake for 30 minutes, until bubbly.

Surprise Visitors!

We had surprise visitors last night, Court and Andrew came up to hang out and spend the night!  We were so surprised and excited to have them here.  We had fun playing the Wii, Reece was pretty happy to have someone else to race.  Come see us again, we loved having you here!

Good Deals

I was in Kohl's this week and found some pretty good deals. I purchased two Christmas rugs, one for $2.99 and one for $3.99.  But the best deal was a Jessie Halloween costume for $2.99!  Harper was so excited!

End of Year Wrap-Up

Well, I haven't posted for a while.  The last couple weeks have flown by, here is a little recap.

My parents came up on Christmas eve, they were here for Christmas morning to see what Santa brought the kids.  Reece was pretty happy that he got most things from his list.  He is pretty sure that Buddy (our elf) was the one who passed all the info on to Santa!  We headed home to Keo to have Christmas with Court and Andrew, again the kids got lots of goods.
Right now, the gift getting the most use is the Wii.  Reece loves playing all the games we got, he is especially good at Mario Kart.  He does beat me most of the time, pretty sad because he is only 4!

New Year's was pretty boring around here.  We watched the Hawks lose the bowl game on Friday night and then I got to work all weekend.

The next holiday/event coming up around here is Reece's birthday, not until March 3. He has already started talking about what kind of party he wants to have!
