Our Little Tapper

This week in dance class, I got to watch part of Harper's tap routine.  I am pretty impressed that she actually remembers the dance and does it well.  At the end of class she was presented with an award, "The Tremendous Tapper"!  She was pretty excited and proud of her award!

Reece-Student of the Month

Reece has recently switched to the more advanced classes at Taekwondo. We were kind of concerned that he would have a hard time keeping up, he is one of the youngest in there.  He did the opposite, he practices his form all the time and he tries hard in class.  His instructor has used him as an example to the other kids and adults, if he is only 6 and can do it so can they.  Reece tested for his Green belt last night and did an awesome job!!  His instructor told Clint and he is going to start a student of the month program and Reece is going to be the first one!  We are pretty proud of him!!

Mommy

Carson has just recently started saying some more words, I think his favorite is "mommy".  At first I was pretty happy that he was finally saying it...but now he says it ALL the time!  He follows me around with arms up saying MOMMY.  Some other favorites are puppy, ball, yes and hawkeye (doesn't really sound like hawkeye but that is what he is saying).  Reece and Harper always try to figure out what he is saying, they think it is pretty cool that he is talking.

We got a notice from the school a few weeks before Christmas saying that Reece had trouble with the vision exam.  We went to his eye appointment and he did have a lot of trouble seeing the letters. We just got his glasse this week, he is pretty excited about them. He said he can see so much better, kinda makes me sad that we didn't know earlier that he was having trouble.
