Sunday Fun!

We headed to Des Moines on Sunday to take in the Blank Park Zoo and spend the night at a hotel.  I think that it was one of the hottest days of the year so far, we only made it 1 hour at the zoo.  We headed to the hotel, which has an indoor waterpark and played there.  Shari and Brian came and hung out for a while, it was fun to get to see them!

Make-up

Harper was getting ready to go on a field trip at school yesterday.  Her teacher helped her put on her swimsuit then handed her some "make-up" to put on.  She has been pretty much terrified to let me put sunscreen on her face, but she loves putting on this make-up!!

Remodel: Update

Cars 2

Reece and I went to Cars 2 a few days ago.  I thought that it was a good movie, he LOVED it!  He also loved the preview for the Smurf movie coming out later this summer.

So Quiet

Last night my mom took Reece and Harper home with her for the weekend.  It was SO quiet here last night, I didn't really know what to do.  This morning has been the same, so quiet.  I know that they are going to have a great time this weekend.  But I can't wait for them to be home!
