Buddy

Buddy the Elf is back at our house.  He arrived while we were away for Thanksgiving.  Reece and Harper were excited to see him!  Reece has now taped his Christmas list to the wall so that Buddy can see it better. Harper said that she wants to see him move, she is sure that he hops on one foot.  The kids also received a video message (courtesy of PNP) from Santa. He said that they were both on the nice list, not sure why!

Pants or Shorts?

This morning I grabbed a pair of "underwear" for Reece.  When he put them on, he said that they were a little tight but I didn't think much of it.  Later in the day he was changing into different pants.  I noticed that the "underwear" that I had given him were actually a pair of Carson's size 3 month pants!  How in the heck did my 5 year old get those on...no wonder he said they were tight!

4 Weeks

Carson is 4 weeks old today, I can't believe how fast the time has gone.  He is a happy, growing baby!  Reece and Harper really love him and want to hold him or "babysit" him all the time.

Eating Smarties..."Will these make me smart? They will make me smarter than Reece."


H: "What if you have a baby girl in your belly."
Me: "That is not going to happen, mommy is not having any more babies."
H: "But what if you do.  How do babies come out of your belly."
Me: "They just come out." (Not going to get into that with a 4 year old.)
H: "Oh, your belly explodes".
Me: "Yea, kinda!"

Due Date

Today was my due date...thank goodness Carson decided to come 3 weeks early!
