New Camera

I just splurged and bought myself a new camera.  I have always had the cheap point and shoots that take ok pictures.  My new one is large and kinda scary.  I have read the owner's manual and think that I can figure it out!  I told my sister that I would take pictures when the babies get here, I need to start practicing on my kids!

What is in your nose?

A little history, Harper is one who likes to pick her nose and sometimes eat it... I know it is gross.  We make a big deal about how gross it is and that she should not do it, she gets pretty embarassed.  Well, today she was messing with her nose and I thought she was just picking it.  She then became nervous and was trying to blow her nose.  I was helping her, then she said "did it come out"? I wasn't sure what she was talking about, she became a little more upset asking if "it" came out.  I then realized that she put something in her nose.  In the meantime she threw up all over the bathroom from "upset stomach".  Her nose then started to bleed a little, I could see something in there.  Finally, she blew it out....part of a Squinkie.  I think and hope this will be the only time she does that!

100 days

Today was Reece's 100th day of school.  I went to help out with afternoon activities.  They made fruit loop necklaces with 100 pieces, colored pictures using the number 100 and did different activities in 100 seconds.  We also had to bring 100 pieces of something for snack and make a shirt with 100 things on it.

My Boys

Last night my boys shared a room for the first time.  Carson did a great job going to sleep in there and Reece was so excited that Carson was sleeping in there! 

I Survived

Today my baby is 12 weeks old, that means I had to return to work today.  I wasn't really sure how I would do but I survived!  He had a great day, they said that he was smiling and happy all day!

Our Bakery

Harper asked for a "bakery" for Christmas, I wasn't really sure what that was.  So she received an apron, kid-sized utensils, a cake mix with frosting and a donut pan.  We made the donuts on Sunday, they turned out ok.  She said they were sparkly...they had sugar on them!  We will probably try a different recipe next time.  She is really into watching food shows and she always wants to help me in the kitchen.
