Round Up

Reece and I went to Kindergarten round up yesterday.  He is so excited for school!  The kids split into 4 groups and got to meet the 4 teachers and see all the rooms.  I listened to a presentation on a lot of information that I am sure I will forget!

Harper

Last night Clint asked Harper what she wanted to be when she grew up. She pretended like she was driving and then said "school bus driver"!

Reece

Reece has finally decided that he can write his name!  I can't believe that he is going to be 5 soon, and that I just registered him for Kindergarten.

New toy

I didn't think Reece's new toy, dominoes, could cause so much frustration. He was NOT happy when he got all but 2 or 3 set up and then they would fall over.

New Recipe

I tried a new recipe tonight, thanks to Pinterest!  It was pretty good and the kids actually liked it.  I thought I should pass it on.

Baked Cream Cheese Spaghetti Casserole
adapted from Food.com and salad-in-a-jar.com

12 oz spaghetti
1 (28 ounce) jars prepared spaghetti sauce
1 lb lean ground beef
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 clove garlic, minced
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.

In a skillet, brown the ground beef until cooked through; drain fat and stir in spaghetti sauce.  Set aside.

Cook spaghetti according to directions on packet.  Drain and place cooked spaghetti in bowl.  Add cream cheese, Italian Seasoning and minced garlic.  Stir until cream cheese is melted and the spaghetti is thoroughly coated.

Lightly grease a 9x13" pan.  Spread a small amount of meat sauce in the bottom of the dish.  Put spaghetti on top of sauce and top with remaining meat sauce.  Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.

Bake for 30 minutes, until bubbly.
