Weekend Review

On Friday night, we attended the Relay for Life.  Reece and Harper had fun jumping in the bounce house and they each got a balloon creation.  Reece got a pirate sword and Harper got a ladybug bracelet.  We walked a couple laps around the track.  It is such a great event, there were many people out supporting a great cause.

We hung out with Nana on Saturday

On Sunday, we had our first neighborhood block party.  It was pretty fun.  We met some of our neighbors and realized that there are many kids that are around the same age.  The kids had a good time with their new friends. One of our neighbors is on the NL fire department, so he brought out a fire truck for the kids to see.  Harper wasn't too sure at first, then she didn't want to get out once she got in!

That is a crane going over the top of the garage to do the concrete.  I was a little nervous about that.

This is the mud hole that we had for a few weeks, waiting for it to stop raining so we could get concrete.

Too Much TV?

We were on our way home from daycare today.  Harper saw a van out her window that was painted different colors. She said, "Hey, that's the mystery machine"!  She has also recently informed us that she is going to be Shaggy for Halloween, I told her she could be Velma but she says no!

Happy Father's Day

Reece made this at school and brought it home today for Clint.   He was pretty proud that he knew all the things that Daddy likes!

Real Dinosaur?

We are planning to make a trip to the zoo in Des Moines sometime soon.  Reece and I looked it up online and they have a dinosaur exhibit now for the next couple months.  He is pretty excited, he wondered if they were alive.  I sure hope not!

Movie Review

Clint and I decided to rent a movie over the weekend, this doesn't happen very often.  We narrowed it down to True Grit, Black Swan and The Fighter.  Black Swan was what we ended up watching...not a good choice.  I didn't like it at all, a little too weird for me.  Has anyone else seen it?  What did you think?

Big Girl Room...Need your input

We are going to be getting Harper a big girl bed, I need your input on which bedding you like best.  We will be getting her a white bed.
