Happy St.Patrick's Day

Today when we arrived at Reece's school door, there was green glitter all over.  His teachers said that a leprachaun had been there and had left them a treat, Lucky Charms! 

Birthday Weekend

Nana and Courtney came to town on Friday, they took Reece and Harper to the mall in the afternoon.  They went to Build A Bear where Reece chose a camo teddy bear and Harper chose a cute puppy.  Reece's teddy bear's name was orginally Cami but Clint changed it to Rambo, a little tougher name!  They also had lunch in the food court, the kids loved eating the garlic rolls from the pizza place.  

On Saturday, all the boys went to the pancake breakfast then we had to get ready for Reece's pool party.  Many of our good friends and family came to help Reece celebrate is birthday.  It was such a fun day for everyone!

On Sunday, we went to brunch with my parents then came home to relax.  Reece and Clint went for a bike ride in the afternoon. We can't wait for Spring, to be able to go outside every day!

Reece's Day

Yesterday was Mr Reece's 4th birthday.  I can't believe that it has been that long since we were in the hospital having our first child!  My mom reminded me that she was at home, my dad was at the Stag in Stockport and Courtney was out on the town the night they got the call. 
Reece was so excited to open all of his presents and was very patient until Clint got home from work.  He chose to have french toast for supper, Harper then had a cupcake for dessert! 
Tomorrow is his party with friends and family, we are going swimming.  I hope that he will be smiling and happy all day!

How does he remember that?

Reece can remember things from months or even a year ago.  When he asks me about certain things, I just wonder how in the world does he remember that?
Example:  We had a UPS delivery this morning.  Reece said, " that is Aidan's dad, Aidan has a purple rocket that sprays water up into the sky". 
We went over to their house last summer and Aidan does have a rocket, but I would not of remembered what color it was! 

Go Fish

My son tends to become a little obsessed with certain things quite often.  Right now, it is playing Go Fish.  When getting ready for school he will ask if we can play when they get home and when I pick them up one of the first things he asks is about playing.  He loves playing and doesn't get mad when he doesn't win.  He thinks that he is pretty cool when he does win!  I try to use it as a learning tool too, trying to get him to sound out the names of the fish.

Go Away

It is day 7 of having a sick kid in our house.  It all started with Miss Harper last Thursday, she is now feeling better but Reece is home from school today.  I am hoping that this leaves our house soon! 

Harper was such a big girl at gymnastics this morning.  She did all of the stations by herself, with a little help from the coach!

Happy Valentine's Day

Reece is having a pajama party at school today.  He was pretty excited for Valentime's Day!  Harper and I are at home today, she has been sick all weekend. She has been asking to watch George for the past 3 days,  she gets pretty upset when told that he is not on. My Valentine's wish for today would be for IPTV to play Curious George all day!
