First Build A Bear

Harper made Carson his first Build A Bear yesterday.  She made him a puppy and named him Pupster!

WHAT did you say??

On our ride home from school today, this is what I heard from the backseat.

R to C: Let's go Cyclones
Me: WHAT did you say??
R: Cyclones
Me: Where did you hear that? We do NOT like the Cyclones. Do you understand?  We like the...
R: Hawkeyes
Me: That is right, we like the Hawkeyes not the Cyclones!

Snow Day

Carson had cereal for the first time today. He really liked it!  He got excited
and knocked the bowl out of my hand, it landed on his arm and all over the chair.

Reece is 6!

Reece celebrated his 6th birthday yesterday, it was a full day of fun!  We went to brunch at IRP with my parents and Courtney and Andrew.  Then we had a pool party at a local hotel with 10 of Reece's best buddies.  I was thinking that the party would wear him out but when we got home he played his two new Wii games until bedtime.  He said that it was the "best day ever"!

Carson 4 Months

Carson had his 4 month check-up.  He is doing good and he is a very happy baby.  We had to start formula in addition to breast milk, he was not gaining as much weight as our doctor would like.  He is the 90% for height but only 40% for weight.  He seems to be adjusting to the formula well.  We will be starting cereal then baby food soon!  He is very close to rolling over, he loves grabbing his feet and pulling off his socks, he loves being entertained by Reece and Harper.

New Camera

I just splurged and bought myself a new camera.  I have always had the cheap point and shoots that take ok pictures.  My new one is large and kinda scary.  I have read the owner's manual and think that I can figure it out!  I told my sister that I would take pictures when the babies get here, I need to start practicing on my kids!

What is in your nose?

A little history, Harper is one who likes to pick her nose and sometimes eat it... I know it is gross.  We make a big deal about how gross it is and that she should not do it, she gets pretty embarassed.  Well, today she was messing with her nose and I thought she was just picking it.  She then became nervous and was trying to blow her nose.  I was helping her, then she said "did it come out"? I wasn't sure what she was talking about, she became a little more upset asking if "it" came out.  I then realized that she put something in her nose.  In the meantime she threw up all over the bathroom from "upset stomach".  Her nose then started to bleed a little, I could see something in there.  Finally, she blew it out....part of a Squinkie.  I think and hope this will be the only time she does that!
